B&W Kind of Day

It’s rare that a day passes without rain here. That’s what “winter” is like here in Bogotá. Rainy.

The other day, while in La Zona Rosa (the Fifth Ave of Bogotá), this inscription on the sidewalk beneath our feet caught my eye. Author was obviously an English speaker! We can relate…

The woman below boarded our bus with her sleeping child and asked for money. A good public speaker and brave spirit she was. 

The streets are always alive. NYC is not the only city that never sleeps. I took the photo below with a higher ISO to capture some mid-evening activity on the streets.
