The Faces of La Esperanza I

Back in March, when we first visited Bogotá, we had the honor of meeting an incredible team of staff and a multitude of children who live in the ¨San Francisco¨of the city. Most of the families are poor and have endured many hardships. The staff at Fundación La Esperanza are tirelessly compassionate and minister all day to the kids and families in this neighborhood. They serve school-age youth by tutoring, teaching, loving, and feeding them delicious, homemade meals (more on that coming soon!). These are some of the faces of La Esperanza that welcomed us last Thursday.
